The Business of Doing What’s Right

Dinesh Victor’s journey in business began not with a playbook, but with a personal belief: that meaningful learning and inclusive growth could be built outside traditional systems. After years in the corporate world, he stepped away from security and stepped into uncertainty, founding a business in 2003 that would go on to impact over a million children and empower thousands of women across India.

As the founder and managing director of SIP Academy India, Dinesh has not only shaped a national education movement but also a scalable entrepreneurship model for women, most of whom had no prior business background. Today, the academy operates across 1,200+ centres in India, with over 80% led by women, many of them first-generation entrepreneurs. His leadership blends long-term vision with daily clarity, setting a tone of fairness, trust, and shared growth across every layer of the organisation.

Beyond strategy and scale, what defines Dinesh in business is a sense of responsibility to build systems that work, people who thrive, and outcomes that create good. He leads with intention, empowers by design, and continues to build a business that grows with purpose and gives with heart.

SIP Academy: What Belief Can Become

What began as a small initiative in 2003 has grown into a movement that blends skill-building with confidence and creativity. SIP Academy India was built on the belief that children learn best when education goes beyond textbooks. Today, it operates across 1,200+ centres in 11 countries, supported by over 6,000 teachers and 300 dedicated employees and partners. With 1.4 million students trained and a leadership team where women lead from the front, the impact is both wide and deep. In 2016, SIP Academy India took over global operations from Singapore, marking a new chapter in its journey of purpose.
